Description
During this private tour your guide will walk you to discover the beautiful city of Mantua, one of the capitals of the Italian Renaissance. The tour will take you through the historic centre, through the gardens of the Ducal residence of the Gonzaga lords, the magnificent Palazzo Ducale and the cathedral overlooking the cobbled Piazza Sordello, to the fabulous lake.
In the city, it is mandatory to visit Piazza delle Erbe with its market, the Palazzo della Ragione, the Clock Tower with its lunar cycles and the Museum of Time. Also the unique Teatro Scientifico Bibiena, an 18th century jewel inaugurated by a young Mozart.
